FAQ's
On this page we will go over some of the frequently asked questions I recieve - if you have a query that isn't answered here, please let me know via the 'Let's chat' button or via email at info.suffolksilversmith@gmail.com

Do you have an Etsy shop?
The short answer is no - please see my online store with NuMonday instead. Alternatively, you'll find my work at Wonky Wheel Gallery in Castle Headingham Essex, as well as across a carefully chosen selection of events across East Anglia. You're also more than welcome to reach out via the 'How can I help?' button at the bottom right of your screen, or via email at info.suffolksilversmith@gmail.com.
The long answer is more complicated - but I won't bore you with the details of that here!
How much does a piece of jewellery cost?
Each piece of jewellery I make is a one off, bespoke, handmade piece. As such, it is impossible to universally price, and individually pricing every item makes for an overwhelming experience for the buyer.

My jewellery starts from £20 for a basic silver ring or pair of copper/brass earrings, then increases depending on the metal used, time and skill taken to make the piece, the gemstone(s) used and set in the piece, the style/length of the necklace, and many other factors.

Where do you ship / how much does it cost?
I offer free delivery to buyers within a 30 mile radius of Needham Market, Suffolk, IP6.

I ship only within the UK currently - either 24 or 48 hour tracked Royal Mail, the cost of which depends on the size and weight of the parcel. I can also send special delivery if you as the buyer would prefer this. Please see Royal Mails website for more information.

I'm looking for a traditional engagement ring - can you help?
If you're after a traditional style engagement ring (we all know the one), I am not the maker for you. Please see my gallery for the type/style of work I create, for a one-off bespoke piece for your bride/husband to be.
Is it real silver?
All the jewellery I create is made from sterling silver, unless stated otherwise as brass or copper. If you have an allergy to silver jewellery, please think before you buy.
Can you fix this piece of heirloom jewellery I've been passed down from a family member?
Heirloom jewellery, the type that is passed down from generation to generation, is a challenge. As i don't have the means to test the type of metal used, and I can't work on a guarantee from a family member that it definitely is the metal they think it is, I don't do repairs on heirloom jewellery. However, I'm happy to pass on contacts I have who may be able to help, so please contact me via the 'How can I help' button, or via email at info.suffolksilversmith@gmail.com
